The IBA participated in “The Role of Southeast New Mexico in the Global Economy” seminars and trade shows, which took place on June 10 in Carlsbad and June 11 in Hobbs. Jim Peach-Regents Professor at New Mexico State University, Roberto Coronado-Assistant Vice President in Charge of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Michael Sposi –Research Economist of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Jesse Thompson – Business Economist of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and Jerry Pacheco – Executive Director of the International Business Accelerator were presenters. The seminars were well attended with more than 100 participants in Carlsbad and 80 in Hobbs. Along with the seminars, trade shows of business assistance entities were held for participants. The events were organized by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and Senator Tom Udall’s office.
